Aug 31 Wednesday Evening (Non race)
It looked like a still night after all the wind we had this week, and then the wind got lighter. There were a number of boats that had to raise the mast after taking them down for Irene. However there seemed to be no serious problems from the storm/flood event, although there was plenty of junk (big branches) in the river. I did not stay till the bitter end, but it looked like no boats were going to finish on time with light wind and a strong out-going tide.
