June 1 Wednesday Night Sailing
The wind was very strong (15 to 18 KPH) from the south, and there were hard gusts. Basically, the area was under the threat of thunderstorms and tornados. The Lightning's did not race on this night. The course was to one or the Buoy by the Tacony Bridge, then back to an upriver mark. The tide was fairly full and outgoing.
