December 12

While I didn't get on the pier it looks light most of the work is done on the walkway (Still needs railings and gate) and a coating of preservative (Something for Fred R. to do on workday!) but it looks really good. According to Hank, they are about a week behind but if today's weather continues they may catch up. They are ready to pour a 40' piece of concrete on the front of the clubhouse to tie in all the greenbar. I haven't seen anything being done on sandblasting the old reinforcement and recoating it with the new plastic material. Almost looks ready for the mariners to go out and race! (Note the new Bulletin with new dock patterns & Workdays!)

The Riverton Pier from North on Bank Street The Pier from south of the Parking lot
Pier from way south of parking lot. Note the steel reinforcement. The Pier and clubhouse from the parking lot. Notice the width of the ramp
To the left, a photo of the completed ramp. There seems to be a slight upgrade at the start of the ramp and then a straight ramp to the pier. A little higher to make it harder for high tide to get to it and then flatter to make it easier for old men in Mariners!
